Whirlpool dishwasher heats poorly after replacing the heater

A new heater does not guarantee heat is restored. Some Whirlpool controls disable heat after detecting a heating fault; the model diagnostic must be completed, and the rest of the heat circuit may still be faulty.

• Confirm the heater replacement addressed the original failure.
• Check whether the diagnostic cycle restores heat.
