Check these first
- Check the drain hose for kinks, compression or freezing.
- Clean the accessible drain-pump filter if your model has one.
- Listen during drain/spin: pump hum with no flow is different from no pump sound.
Fix it in this order
- Drain residual water safely.
- Clean the pump filter and hose path.
- Run Spin or Rinse+Spin.
- If the pump runs but flow is still poor, inspect the household drain/standpipe and hose installation.
- If there is no pump action or OE returns with a clear path, schedule pump/service diagnosis.

How you know it is fixed

- If OE happens only in freezing weather, thaw the hose/washer naturally and prevent refreezing before retrying.
