- Empty the bin and check the inlet, wand and cleaner head for a physical blockage.
- Remove the filter only as Dyson instructs for your V10 variant. If you wash it, reinstall it only after it is completely dry.
- Test the machine with the wand and cleaner head removed. If the main body runs normally, add the parts back one at a time.
- Check whether the charger is firmly connected and whether the battery lights behave differently on and off the charger.
A machine that pulses or stops under load can have an airflow restriction; a machine that will not charge or will not stay powered needs a different battery/charger check. Do not replace a battery merely because the vacuum is a certain age.
